The Druid Scott case was decided here by the SCOTUS in the 1850's. The Dred Scott case, too.
Actually, the Old Courthouse Rotunda has fabulous acoustics. It was also the prototype for the US Capitol.

Well “spell” didn't catch that one for me LOL. Yes the acoustics are great and last time I was there (A long time ago), they had an Edison light bulb still light up (but you needed a candle to see it LOL)
