I also very quickly located exactly where Jr was on Wednesday, June 6th, 2007. He was on the floor of the Senate giving a speech on immigration found here:

Ironic to contact the Dept. of Health in HI for a C.O.L.B. when a bill on Immigration is being debated!
One thing that struck me about that one letter was the mention that Sr was a student at the University not at the East - West Center, although he met Ann while taking a Russian language class at the East - West Center (as the story goes, but no verification from fellow classmates)
