How come we're hearing so much about this plumber's $1200 owed in taxes (not illegal) when Charlie Rangel has potentially $10,000's of taxes he has ILLEGALLY avoided paying?

The modern media is BIG CORPORATE money supporting the most Left leaning candidate in US history. The idea of a “Fourth Estate” or free press protecting the liberty of Americans from tyranny is a quaint and nostalgic fantasy.
So... why do THESE corporations get to make obvious political contributions in the form of air time, talking heads, etc. Corporate contributions are illegal in the US. If they pick a candidate and support a candidate its a contribution.
Isn’t Rangell still the head of the finance committee???
