Love to know if the kid is in line for a military commission via ROTC or if he's already a combat veteran and attending school on the GI Bill. Either way, bad guys are running new risks in targeting college students .... off campus.
I was sorta hoping when I read this that the UA the article referred to was my old alma mater, The University of Alabama. This article, from my years at 'BAMA in the late 1970s would have been normal and unsurprising as a news story in Tuscaloosa.
That means the followup article will probably paint him as a helpless victim of post traumatic stress syndrome. Obviously this death inflicted on a man turned criminal because he was desperate to feed his DRUG HABIT family is now the fault of BUSH because he took the steps to expand the military following the 911 attacks....
