These local news rags are rarely on target with polls, and then only by chance. So many polls have been outside their margins of error in elections past, that it is hard to take any of them seriously anymore.

The worst poll is potentially yet to come. Thats the one I'm worried about most: the 'exit poll' used to predict outcomes in states. This was used to great effect in '96 and '00. In '96 they erroneously predicted Georgia for Clinton (very early in the evening) and '00 they erroneously called Florida for Gore. This has the effect of demoralizing the conservative voters in other states. When they see Georgia fall, or Florida fall, well you get the picture. I wish we could get the word out to vote no matter what the media is saying on election day and point out how they have failed us in the past. Perhaps we could force them legally to post a disclaimer about past errors, and exit polls are just irregular indicators that sometimes have been right.

Hussein does not have a lead. The score is 0 - 0. Last time I checked, the game does not start until 4 November.

42.0 ............. MALE
58.0 ............. FEMALE

And Dems with a 5-point advantage in a right-leaning state. Any questions? :-)

What’s even more laughable about this...ahem...poll is that in September, when it showed McCain with a 6% advantage over the chOsen One, it sampled women and men equally, 50%. It also sampled dems at 27%, republicans at 32%.

Lo and behold, now this polling firm believes that men will only make up 42% of VA’s electorate. Yeah right.

Shit in, shit out. This isn’t a poll, it’s worthless piece of pixels.

LOL, who are these guys? Also very timely, I just wrote a post about VA in another thread...there’s no way Obama will win there by 6% without taking the national race by at least 15%, which is approaching Mondale territory. Bush won the state by 8% in 2004 and furthermore, increased his margin from 2004 over 2000. These polls are crap.

What is the % of whites versus blacks in this poll? What the % of whites who are polled from Fairfax county versus other counties?

I know people in VA that have never voted Republican in their lives and they are voting for John McCain. I listened with amazement at a female relative talking about how well McCain did in the debate. She’s never voted anything but democrat. Gave me renewed hope for VA.

ARe there any other polls? We need to be worried about Virginia. The media acts like O is way ahead there, but are there other polls showing it closer than this?

If Virginia goes Dem, it will be almost impossible to win.
