I personally can’t believe much of anyone truly doesn’t know who they are going to vote for by this point.

Disagree DO.

This is not your business as usual election, with some unusual factors mixed in this time. A few unusual factors are, race, volatile economy, and many Republican conservatives feeling they've been raped and robbed by the party for some years now. Not to mention the festering border issue that has taken a back seat to the economy lately, but continues to be a festering issue with millions.

I would guess race will will be a major factor, possibly being aided by many that have just had a belly full of of D.C. with many seeing the Republicans as causing that belly ache.

If McCain fails, the blame will rest with the Republican track record in their past 6 years, handling of the economy, and their chosen candidate.

Currently I see this as a toss up, but we could all be fooled and it could go big, one way or the other.

It will be a very interesting election night.

...volatile economy...

If the Dummycrats had any intelligence, they would see that the economy is nowhere near as bad as the MSM makes it out to be and the stock market is over-reacting on the down side. The unemployment rate is in the 6-7% area, which certainly isn't all that high by historical standards for recessions and depressions. One of the many Obama lies is that this is the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression - which he continuously repeats. Absurd, certainly not now. And Obama's tax and spend policies will only make things worse.

...many seeing the Republicans as causing the belly ache.

The Republicans have caused some problems, true, but the root of the current economic situation is the sub-prime mortgage mess, caused in large part by ex-Clintonistas looting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and Dummycrat policies forcing banks and other lenders into making mortgage loans to unworthy borrowers. And, contrary to myth, many of the large financial institutions on Wall Street are or were run by Democrats.

The major problem to be overcome out there is massive voter ignorance, largely caused by decades of dumbed down education in the public school systems.
