I don't see his answers as provoking anger so much as I see them as being refreshing. It's nice to know that despite the media's attempts to hide ordinary people, folks like Joe the Plumber come out and show that there still is some sanity in this country.

My answer would have been similar, though I'd probably have gone into a rant on the issue of welfare, the "earned income credit" (which is welfare under a different name), and Obama's so-called "tax credit" for people that already don't pay federal income tax.

Once again, Joe along with anyone else who has brought up the $250,000 rich person tax has missed the major point! If a small business own has to report his business’s gross profits as his own income, his employee's payrolls come out of that as well as any other business expenses. By the time Obama takes his pound of flesh out of the small business owner, they might be making less than several of their employees. In reality, they will shut their doors and go out of business. Small business owners make up the majority of employment opportunities in United States.

Went to a lib site earlier regarding this story and the responses were amusing. Many of the libs were claiming (with no proof) that Joe the plumber was;

Not from Ohio
Not registered to vote
A McCain operative
Not a plumber.

They are in a deep, deep state of denial.
