Would you prefer a news station to blow smoke up your ......?
Krauthammer just summed it up perfectly saying that McCain walked away from things like Ayers, infanticide etc... when he was handed a perfect opportunity to slam Obama.
It’s the truth that you WON”T get form any other news station.

Mr. Krauthhammer had it correct as you noted. McCain didn't close the deal on any of the arguments he was winning. But he did better tonight that the last yawner.
I don't know if there was any clear cut "debate winner" but I am pretty sure America will be the loser. It is only a matter of how much the Republic will loose under these two men.
Knowing we will loose more under Obama is very little solace, if any.
But, hey, I am way out here in the bleacher seats and my opinion and vote generally doesn't matter much to anyone but me.

"Would you prefer a news station to blow smoke up your ......?"Yes, he and many other probably would. Apparently it tickles or something.
I find it interesting to hear other people's opinion on what we've both just seen. Never realized that I was so strange and out-of-touch.
But, then again, there were several calls on another thread for anything not favorable to McCain to be banned on FR until after the election. Fools.

Don't be ridiculous!"
Two words...Saudi Prince
The Saudi money has spoken, simple as that.
Only a total shill could have watched tonights debate and possibly claim Obama "won"...McCain needed to attack, that's what he did. Did he do it successfully? Undoubtedly yes. There's no question Obama was on his heels. Did Obama have a Reagan (underdog) "youth and inexperience" moment? No. Therefore he lost the debate. It's like claiming every fight Muhammad Ali had to go the distance in and won a decision, he lost, because he didn't knock the opponent out. That's ridiculous.

Read the live thread. That was not the reaction of most freepers, and that’s not an easy crowd.
And if you think there’s not another station that will tell viewers that McCain somehow muffed every opportunity, you’re just nuts.
