Kerry ‘way ahead’ in race for presidency
Los Angeles
June 12, 2004

Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry has pulled far ahead of President George Bush, according to a Los Angeles Times poll.

But while Senator Kerry has extended his lead nationally, regional polls held simultaneously, also conducted for the Times, shows the electoral battleground remains even in the key swinging states, which he must win to become president in November.

In a two-way contest, Senator Kerry leads Mr Bush by 51 per cent to 44 per cent. In a three-way race that includes independent Ralph Nader, Senator Kerry leads 48 per cent to 42 per cent, with Mr Nader on 4 per cent.

The poll of 1230 registered voters was taken from Saturday to Tuesday

You can not trust polls. Most Republicans are not at home and do not answer cold calls. Most Republicans are working late and weekends or out playing hard on free time, we are the producers of capitalism. Many people have cell phones and no home phone. They are way over sampling Democrats, loosers and under class who do not crawl on glass to vote like Republicans will.
