I disagree with your notion

Lets be honest, with the economy just having tanked, winning is next to improbable

In particular with how the MSM has blamed the entire thing on our side and deregulation

The aftermath of this election will be having a viable opposition that can compete in 2010 and 2012.

If McCain pulls everything out of left field he can, this will alienate those we will need to convert to our side in 2010 and 2012 when the socialists have full control

PLease do not start talking about the next election until this one is over!!! You need to get off the couch and start waving an American Flag with a McCain/Palin sign. If we lose this election, we LOSE EVERYTHING!!!

Oh come on. THey say this is a democrat year, but the country may not be ready to elect big spending liberals when the economy is in crisis. The crisis happened a little too soon. I think it would have been easier for them to get elected if it hadn’t. The polls apparently would say I am wrong, but I just can’t see how people could elect even MORE big spenders right now.

Tonight, McCain should reiterate the endorsement of Obama, he made Saturday, and everyone will like him and vote GOP in 2012. Right.
