Oh quit it. Is your life pleasure to demean Bush. Don’t you think that is a little wornout. The man did protect your family for the last 8 years, which will not be the case with Obama.

I expect him to do his level best to defend us. He has done a patriot's job of that, and I praise him for that. But I also expected him not to name a special prosecutor for the absurd Plame matter. I also expected him not to let Sandy Berger off the hook. Now he is MIA on the ACORN affair, when he should be naming a special prosecutor for that. My main beef with Bush is that he is so quietly fading into oblivion. I want him to FIGHT. To suddenly on a Sunday night name 200 recess appointments and enrage the Democrats. To sign Executive Orders permitting ANWR, and fast-track refineries and nuke plants by waiving environmental challenges. I want him to fight against the dying of the light.

Well none of us get 100%, we don’t get even 75%.

What we want and what is possible in this Washington are never the same.
