This depends, I suppose, on HOW these birth announcements are aquired. Did the Honolulu Advertiser get their info directly from the hospital?

I am not wholly convinced either way, but definitely think this is intriguing and wonder WHY Obama didn’t just offer his birth certificate as McCain did, when his citizenship was questioned. I think that is a valid question.

I think this is a ruse to flush out the real birth certificate. The theory is that maybe there is something there like father is Arab, or father is Soetoro or father is Frank Marshall Davis, that Obama wants to hide. On the other hand Obama might not have released it as a tactic to waste our time and resources.

Oh, I'm with you on the question of why Obama didn't just produce the original and be done with the hassle. Just makes the commonsense meter go ping into the red warning area. Obama may very well be hiding some sort of embarrassing information that's contained on the original. But that's a different matter than the claim that he was actually born in Kenya, which the Honolulu Advertiser seems to clearly refute.
