Just a husband and wife team who act holier than thou... Those at snopes think their shit don’t stink. Funny how they summarize things based on opinions...

The first rule of advertising is “Advertise your weakest point”. Hence, we have names like “Fact Check”, “Fairness Doctrine”, “Progressive”, “Hope”.

“What about Snopes?”

I don’t know if snopes.com is a leftist front organization, I haven’t researched its underpinings.

Well, that’s a shame if it was taken over by leftists. The founder, Walter H. Annenberg, was Ambassador to Great Britain during the Nixon administration. And according to Wikipedia: “the Reagans often celebrated New Year’s Eve with the Annenbergs.” So, it must have been Republican or at least impartial to start with. It would be interesting to know how the left-wingers took it over.

The fact is, the ANNENBERG Public Policy Center (APPC), the sponsoring agency behind FastCheck.org, is itself supported by the same foundation, the ANNENBERG FOUNDATION, that Bill Ayers secured the 49.2 million dollars from to create the Chicago ANNENBERG Challenge “philanthropic” organization in which Barack Obama was the founding Chairman of the Board for and Ayers served as the grant writer of and co-Chair of for its two operating arms.

Whoa! No wonder they have been getting their facts wrong in this election. When will this be aired on CNN?

Great Rudy Giuliani video! He nails it.

SOME HIGH PROFILE PERSON LIKE RUDY NEEDS TO SAY “OBAMA IS A TROJAN HORSE” - he has concealed his true politics so cleverly with his phony rhetoric, but once in power, his Marxists cronies will become entrenched in our country like a cancer.

I was responding to the video at the top of the screen which turns out to be randomly generated.

That’s a little complicated. Could somebody flowchart that for me? And don’t forget to show where George Soros fits in.

Aren’t they a prime source of information for CNN? What’s CNN stand for again? Concentrated Nonsense Network?

I don’t think this post is accurate. I think the post has confused FactCheck.org with www.factchecked.org

They are 2 different sites. Yes ?

Snopes is biased to the Left. Read their nonsense trying to rationalize Al Gore inventing the internet.

A better source than either of those is Political truth and fact. It doesn't have the annoying leftwing bias of fact check and snopes.

From wiki: (also left-wing)

FactCheck.org is a nonprofit website[1] that describes its own goal as “[reducing] the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.” In its efforts, FactCheck says it is nonpartisan.[2] It is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation.[2]

Just because an organization CALLS themselves FactCheck (or RealityCheck, etc.) doesn’t mean they are honestly checking the facts.

Wasn't it Ayn Rand who said that whoever controls language controls minds?

Could not the same be applied to whoever controls "facts" as an ostensibly neutral arbiter of truth? Just the thoughts of a dumb guy.
