Gee, where did I excuse the booing. Oh, that’s right, I didn’t. I commented on how bad this decision was on the part of the campaign.

They didn’t boo a six year old. A six year old happened to be there. They booed Sarah. Like it or not this was a stupid campaign decision. Booing was guaranteed. Taking a 6-year old along just compounded it. The boos started as soon as they heard Sarah’s name.

If the campaign expected taking a child along would keep them from booing they were fools. Philly fans will boo just about anyone at just about any event.

Dropping the puck was a dumb political move for the campaign.

Snyder invited her, I'm sure as more as a PR boost for hockey than a political statement.

Am I the only one who remembers Bill Clinton getting booed, vociferously, after his face showed up on the big screen at a ball game when he was a POPULAR president? Like you, I don’t excuse it, but really, is it all that much of a surprise?
