“What I don’t understand is why she is going to two fairly small towns in Ohio. I’m sure there is a strategic reason but being from Missouri myself I wouldn’t know what those reasons might be.”

Hope you all don’t mind me stepping in.

Many posters have hinted around about the same subject.
Why is the McCain/Palin campaign visiting areas that are not key strategic election sites?

Specifically, why is Governor Palin visiting such cities and towns?

Here’s the answer: The McCain/Palin campaign is not playing any games. Sarah is visiting the ‘people’ of America, especially the places that the MSM and DEMS consider ‘low value targets’.

She is doing it because she considers those voters as important as voters in CA, or NY, or TEXAS.

Because she would be sharing the responsibility for the entire country, as VP, and not just for Hollywood or Harlem.

I think that her choice of campaign sites is very telling about the way that McCain and Palin would handle the responsibility for the highest elected office in our country.

to add to your excellent post, I think McCain and Palin WANT the popular vote as well and not just to nickel and dime it but to actually OWN it fair and square....
