ARLINGTON, VA — McCain-Palin 2008 spokeswoman Meg Stapleton issued the following statement on today’s release of Stephen Branchflower’s report:
“Today’s report shows that the Governor acted within her proper and lawful authority in the reassignment of Walt Monegan. The report also illustrates what we’ve known all along: this was a partisan led inquiry run by Obama supporters and the Palins were completely justified in their concern regarding Trooper Wooten given his violent and rogue behavior. Lacking evidence to support the original Monegan allegation, the Legislative Council seriously overreached, making a tortured argument to find fault without basis in law or fact. The Governor is looking forward to cooperating with the Personnel Board and continuing her conversation with the American people regarding the important issues facing the country.”

The funny thing to me is that while we genuinely do think that a large percentage of liberals are stupid, we're always surprised at just HOW stupid they really are. And they keep doing stuff like this over and over and over. TG.
I was posting on another site about this the other day...they insisted that the stepson wanted to do it, that he didn’t do full power, that the son was laying down surrounded by pillows, that he was giggling about it and said it tickled, and that the whole family was laughing.
mmm..I bet my sons would giggle if I gave them a six pack too. But It would be a horrible thing to do.
Hopefully he's also thinking: achieved?.....state HS championship.....beauty pageant....job at tv station....Pta....city council..mayor....energy commission....Governor!....not to mention she has 5 children! achievement?.....Sarah Palin has achieved more in her 44 yrs than 99% of the population....as so beautifully stated by another FReeper above!
Well said! In fact if it were a 100 page positive report, but had one negative sentence about Gov. Palin in it, that's the sentence which would be reported by CNNCBSABCNBC et al. So that's the ONLY troopergate sentence, which would be carried to the polls by 15% of the population who still are on rabbit ears!
The other fact not mentioned by 99% of the MSM 'reporting' is the fact that Stephen Blanchflower's wife worked for Monegan. I kinda expected to see that here, tho'!

I was referring to the financial markets, causing people great stress.
The only story in “tasergate” is that a policeman, who tasered his 10 year old son, was caught drinking on the job in his squad car, and has threatened Palin’s family with physical harm, is still on the job. HE WAS NEVER FIRED, AND PATROLS THE STREETS TO THIS DAY IN ALASKA! The policeman’s superior also WAS NOT FIRED. He was reassigned to duties that better fit his skills. He decided to quit instead of taking those new duties.
Whatever else you may think, know this: “The Gov” can hold her head high that she did nothing wrong here.
Even the report concludes that Palin was within her rights to reassign the commissioner in question.
Again, why is this cop still on his job??

McCain’s job is to win the election. He’s doing a poor job so far.
The Secret Service’s job is to protect the candidates. They’re doing a good job so far.
As to Obama, no one really knows who is is and what he would do in office. Is he still a communist? Is he still a Muslim ( as he was as a boy )? Is he, and has he ever been an American citizen? Where was he born? Hawaii? Kenya? Who really knows anyuthing for sure about Barack Obama? I’m not even sure that he does. I suspect that he’s a committed communist, and that will come to light from his actions as President.

Why? She has addressed this issue dozens of times already...if you didn't believe her all those times, why should she need to address it again just to mollycoddle you?
I’ll become out-raged after the pundits and msm types diligently investigate the Bill Ayers and Obama link. Then we can become upset that Palin used her office to help out family.
