STATEMENT FROM MCCAIN-PALIN SPOKESWOMAN MEG STAPLETON
Friday, October 10, 2008
ARLINGTON, VA McCain-Palin 2008 spokeswoman Meg Stapleton issued the following statement on todays release of Stephen Branchflowers report:
Todays report shows that the Governor acted within her proper and lawful authority in the reassignment of Walt Monegan. The report also illustrates what weve known all along: this was a partisan led inquiry run by Obama supporters and the Palins were completely justified in their concern regarding Trooper Wooten given his violent and rogue behavior. Lacking evidence to support the original Monegan allegation, the Legislative Council seriously overreached, making a tortured argument to find fault without basis in law or fact. The Governor is looking forward to cooperating with the Personnel Board and continuing her conversation with the American people regarding the important issues facing the country.

I am heartbroken here! We understand the issues! but regular folks will see the headline and have it re-enforced that a majority republican panel voted to release the report. It is done, and it is ugly.
Mike Wooten stinks - and anyone with a brain knows it.
Everybody needs to chill though.
It’s a Friday - best day of the week for this junk to get out and over with. So what if Madonna tells her to *f* off tomorrow night?
This combined with the McCain and the “decent man” talk today coupled with the FOX team being off tonight (no Sean, no Greta, no Martha, no Brit), my tin-foil hat says we’re gearing up for a good week next week. Rest up!

IMPORTANT: Be sure to add your name and town, and when emailing be sure to send BCC as a group or just send individually so it will look like it went only to them. If they see that its also being sent to others theyll write it off as a mass email, and wont read it.
Light your torches, grab your pitchforks, and tell the MSM what America is REALLY thinking about. MAKE it the news. Your email account is your weapon, and this is war. So lock and load, and use your electronic Liberty Teeth! Roar like an Alaskan bear!
So........not only do the Dems believe Troopers driving with open alcohol should be overlooked and NOT reported, nor child tazers, they also believe evidence of fraudulent workmans' comp claims should be buried....
What a bunch of ACORNS these Democrats are.
I know better than to make book on my feebleness. I am betting on the great Waldo McCain to blow it.
If you can’t pay attention, then you need to stay out of the bookmaker’s hall.
Yes, Melba Toast, with marmelade and Caviar!
The “bipartisan” part of it were the corrupt Republicans Gov. Palin has taken on in the Alaska state congress.
It would be a crime to take $5 from you...
Please also remeber that a majority of the “Council” is made up of the ACORN Party.
Some just cant stand McCain, they hope he looses.
I can’t take your money, it would be like stealing someone’s lunch money.........LOL
How many people signed off on this report ? Anyone know ?
The moment his face comes on screen, I start looking to see who passed gas.
Yep, dump Palin and we dump you McLame!
I recommend a little time on DU this evening watching the kiddies with their flashing smileys all excited like they’ve sacked Palin. Bwaaahahaha!
Stop saying that, it isn’t true. The GOP has a majority on that council - but Palin made a lot of enemies in the state GOP.
She knocked out a Republican governor in the primary to win her office, and forced the resignation of the State Party Chair in another matter.
“I am betting on the great Waldo McCain to blow it.”
Maybe, but he has strong support. He’s made a few blunders but overall this is his to win.
Some news stations are reporting that Palin abused her power.
You betcha it would. At least for President. How long did McGovern stay in the Senate after making that very same fatal mistake? McCain’s been playing to stay a force in the Senate, he’s already given up on President.
I am not disagreeing with the popular sentiment on this thread, I am suggesting our standard-bearer is about to to burn us.
