My take on ACORN - another stupid program designed by overeducated stupid people.

Lets do a little connect the dots . . .

WADE RATHKE
Leader and founder of the radical cult ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) - a nationwide activist network engaged in "community organizing" and in voter mobilization drives for George Soros' Shadow Party
Former draft-resistance activist for the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)
Former activist in the National Welfare Reform Organization (NWRO) and protegé of its founder George A. Wiley Co-founder of the Tides Foundation, along with Drummond Pike.
Currently serves as Board Chairman of the Tides Center and member of the Tides Foundation Board of Directors
Founded Local 100 of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in New Orleans and heads it to this day.
Rathke is president and co-founder of SEIU's Southern Conference and a member of SEIU's national executive board. He also helped launch the United Labor Union (ULU), which organizes low-skill service workers.
Rathke chairs the AFL-CIO's Organizers Forum and formerly served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO.

Wade Rathke is one of the most powerful - yet least known - of America's hard-Left activists. As leader and founder of America's largest radical group, ACORN; co-founder and chairman of the Tides Center; board member of the Tides Foundation; executive board member of SEIU and chairman of the AFL-CIO's Organizers Forum, Rathke exerts influence over three major chokepoints of leftist power: radical foundations; radical public-sector unions; and activist foot-soldiers in the streets.

This website is a very valuable resource for how all the left over communists of the 60's have engrained themselves into labor, academia, government and charitable organizations. And I believe they have found a candidate who encompasses all their values and who they are pushing for with every dollar and connection they can. I think it is a diabolical plan.

Kenya was the trial run, and we are next.

Exactly. The only way to stop this is to get some media folks to start shining a light on the over-weighted polls. There are many blogs that are doing this, but we need FoxNews, Hannity, etc. to broadcast about it. We want as few people as possible surprised by Obama's loss.

Obama’s talking points ?

Obama says that ACORN hires winos who then falsify registrations? Really? Who knew?

He strikes more the sort that feels that “the winos earn money from registering poor people, who then vote to provide rehabilitation care for the winos who registered them.”

Let the circle be unbroken - Kumbaya!

Why do you think it is not a conspiracy to steal the election?

You have a point about timing. However, this was whole mess was investigated by Republicans and “no intent to influence an election was found.”

I’m upset that my taxes are funding this nonsense. Most of these fraudulent “registered voters” never voted; the winos just took the money and drank.

ACORN needs to be dissolved

That I agree with. But good luck with that. It's not just the winos, you know. I was being (just a teeny bit) facetious. It's all the unemployed aunts, uncles, special needs relatives of politically-connected Democrats that get a cut. If they feel so motivated to register poor people, let them volunteer to do so.

Jenny,

Because ACORN is a taxpayer funded organization who PAYS chronically umemployed people - think winos, the funny uncle who lives in the back room - to register poor people to vote.

The rationale is that these winos earn a little money and much-needed self-respect by empowering poor people.

Looks good on a PowerPoint slide.

Of course, what happens is that these unemployed types don't do the hard work to actually contact unregistered people. Surprise! They falsify registrations!

Then ACORN or the Registrar reject the applications and it is fraud. But, this is very different from a coordinated intent to sway an election.

ACORN needs to go, or at least, reformed to the point they stop paying for registrations.

What we need is a single, national voting system—a computerized system that is only used in voting for president. Every citizen receives a voter id card from the government that they use like an ATM card to work the machine. Each card, once used, cannot be used again. Those who are ambulatory, but who will not be present on election day can receive an absentee ballot only by presenting themselves and their card at a BMV—their card gets swiped and invalidated for further procurement of ballots.

Have to think of some way to let the non-ambulatory vote absentee, but that would cut out most of the fraud.

Seems that each day brings another investigation in another state over ACORN’s voter fraud, Ernest. What's the count now?

Pan_Yan,

I loved your erudite and appropriate use of Saul Alinsky’s quote. That’s why I looked up and countered with one my own.

But, my friend, you are giving this 60s types too much credit. And, if you are looking for former radicals, please check out the roots of the Neo-conservative movement.

To be honest with you, I am glad that this is comming out now. Better for all states and counties to get a heads up on this a month out rather than a week out.

Some say that the damage has been done. I think alot of it can be averted now. This gives the GOP time to get people in areas where this is going on. County judges will be doubled or tripled in some cases.

Last but definitely not least, is that all of this voter fraud is linked to ACORN and the ties to Hussien are inseparable. It will have damaging legs to THAT ONE.

This election is going to end up before the Supreme Court again.

This election is definitely headed for a Bush v. Gore type of decision. I'm not confident that both sides will accept such a decision.

But, my friend, you are giving this 60s types too much credit.

I fully agree that there is a considerable amount of incompetence involved. After all, several of William Ayers best friends blew themselves up in a New York townhouse. They were not very effective revolutionaries. But they have a definate goal, and have done an extremely good job of entrenching themselves and aquiring sources of ready money, including lots of tax dollars and what used to be Republican money. Take the Annenburg Foundation and the Heinz Family Foundation for example.

Their control over education is almost complete. There have even been rumblings of trying to ban homeschooling in some states. Once they have complete control over education then socialism is only a generation away. They are in this for the long haul. They know they may not achieve their marxist dream in this country in their lifetime, but without a serious concerted effort on our side they will achieve it.

You either are a mole or a fool. In either case, everyone should disregard what you say. If the Liberal Messiah steals this election, revolution or a military coup should immediately follow.
