Proof Obama backed ruthless, foreign thug (Corsi's Obama/Odingo emails)

Sen. Barack Obama designated a personal aide as his direct contact for the 2007 Kenyan presidential campaign of Raila Odinga, who later was appointed prime minister after his election loss was followed by widespread, deadly violence that destroyed or damaged 800 Christian churches, according to e-mails obtained by WND senior staff writer Jerry Corsi during a trip to Kenya.

These are not the ones from Corsi.

These supposedly were sent 9 minutes apart, but the header "From" section is different between the two

The From section is not different really. If a mail program such as Outlook has the contact in it, it will display the "Pretty Name" in front of the sender's email addresses.

Those are the emails?!? They read like a Nigerian scam.
Harvard educated obama wrote this?!? If that’s what he got, Corsi was duped.

Hello brother
I will kindly wish that all our correspondance handled by Mr Mark Lippert. I have already instructed him. This will be for my own security both now and in future.
Faithfully,
Obama

Would Obama actually sign the signature at the end as “Obama” Why wouldn’t he use his full name? Or the name everyone else uses for him? Like Berry, or whatever... I just want honest reporting. I’m tired of all the scams we’ve had in our life time. Maybe it is honest... but the “December 22, 2008, 6:36 am” part... sure it could be a typo... but also it could be someone just manufacturing a tale. I dunno.. I could swing either way but I need more proof. (one way or the other.)

Remember, we need to uphold our honesty and integrity, or we’re no better than the socialist leftists who will do anything to win.

It is reproduced here with the e-mail address of the person who forwarded it to WND redacted:

Right. That explains the addresses, but it doesn't explain the two dates in the one email.

No! Noooo!

Ayers, Wright, Rezko, Logan Act violations, pre-existing Odinga support, ACORN, birth certificate, Harvard/Columbia records, medical records, overseas donations, PLO buddies, failed reality of post-Annenberg schools, et al ...

The One is 10 shades of filthy and yet we’re willing to *hope* that copies of emails which anyone in the world with access to a computer can fake will dethrone him? The labels on the Kool-aid clearly specify “KOS Consumption Only” people!

I hope we leave this alone... it could very easily backfire when the MSM lambastes Corsi as a crackpot (inevitable) and the emails (authentic or not) are easily dismissed as fraudulent. Once they’re torn down, it undermines the arguments that actually hold water and can be proven easily

If Corsi truly wants to bring Obama down in flames, rather than whip up media frenzy when the drive-bys start their re-education, he should have audio, handwriting or irrefutable video evidence; who’s gonna buy black & white text?

Of course, if someone had copies of a McCain letter written in crayon on the back of a bar napkin addressing the Ghost of Hitler, Olbermann would jump on his desk live and dry-hump the air in victory until his spine severed itself

The only way that the From: fields would change in this way would be if the sender changed computers, or used different mail programs, etc. Given that these two emails were supposedly sent 9 minutes apart, this is extremely unlikely.

There are two explanations for this:

1. They were printed from two different email programs. For instance, one might have been printed from Outlook while the other was printed from webmail. Different programs display the header in different ways.

2. Assuming Obama sent these, one could have been sent from his desk at the capitol and the other from his mobile device. It is possible the headers would look slightly different if the emails were generated from two different sources.

Odinga claims to be Anglican, but:

I thought Obama was the one who knew how to use email. Check out the 2nd email. It says:

Contact him through mark_lippert.obama.senate.gov

Wouldn't Mr. Lippert's email address be "mark_lippert@obama.senate.gov??? Forgetting the "@" symbol when conveying a person's email address is the sign of someone who is really not that tech savvy.

Sometimes the @ is left out of things so that bots don’t lift it and spam the addy.

In the second email, why is Lippert’s listed with no “@” in the address?

I never type a date. Isn't the date computer generated?

Aren’t Senate emails under FOIA? Can’t someone just simply request them? They could not have been so stupid as to use official Senate email to communicate with this thug!

I think Freepers need to make sure all the “i’s” are dotted on this story before Hannity goes public with it.

Everyone needs to start sending WND questions on it.

There are 9 minutes between the two emails. Both appear to be from Obama. Why wouldn’t Obama have included the info on Lippert in the first email since he mentioned him in the first email?

I agree.

How can one ever verify this? The only person that could would be the ‘anonymous’ one who gave this to Corsi.

I am praying daily that we FIND something to wake up the zombie voters for obama. It’s frankly mind boggling to me how anyone could vote for him based on what we have already.

He’s a liar for sure and a marxist for sure. His entire life has been associated with communists, terrorists and the like. I’m sure we will all be flagged for interrogation if he’s elected for saying these things, but I don’t care any more.

One caution in all of this. The State Department did ask Obama to make phone calls to Odinga during the uprisings following the election.

In fairness to Senator Obama, after Kenya erupted into violence ( and at the request of Condoleezza Rice), Obama did record a message “. …calling for calm…” and had “..near daily conversations with the US Ambassador…and Raila Odinga” (“The Demons That Still Haunt Africa” TIME magazine 1/10/2008). Perhaps not surprisingly, President Kibaki apparently declined to take his call. Kibaki’s not the only one no longer filled with enthusiasm for Senator Obama’s brand of diplomacy. As Nicholas Kristof reported (with some surprise) in February: “You might think that all Kenyans would be vigorously supporting Mr. Obama. But Kenya has been fractured along ethnic lines in the last two months, so now Mr. Obama draws frenzied support from the Luos ethnic group of his ancestors, while many members of the rival Kikuyu group fervently support Hillary Rodham Clinton. (“Obama’s Kenya Roots” New York Times 2/24/2008)
