"That reads like a Nigerian scam email. It doesn't pass the smell test as something Obama would write." You're assuming of coutse, that Obama actually wrote his own books. Other than thay, wehave no examples of "excellent english" anywhere......which is also wierd,

I’m honestly not trying to start an argument. Simply stating what I see, and it’s clear on my computer.
The last thing I want is for Corsi - - or us - - to be duped. That will destroy the credibility of any other evidence that comes out.
I’m holding back on these for now and hoping for something more concrete before I send it out to non-FReepers on my email list.

Ok. QUESTION.
Could Obama claim that he went to support a relative as a relative and not as US representative?
I would say taht if he used taxpayer money to fund the trip then he went as a US representative. If he claims to have just been supporting a relative, then he better ahve paid for everything out of his own pocket. jmo

The second email is what I was referring to. There are two dates on it, one at the top and one below it.
The first email has 2006 in both places.

The phrase "in future" stands out as a British term. Americans would say, in the future.

Yes, except that I believe that he just missed it in his typing. The sentence before it is also missing a word:
"...wish that all our correspondence [be] handled by Mark Lippert...."I think it was just an oversight by someone whose writing skills are marginal.

That’s what I thought too, Netizen. In fact, it would look stranger if there were none.

Something is not right!
The second one really looks bogus due to the mix matched 2006 and 2008 dates.
Where are the email headers?
