It’ll be a tear-jerker. Obama will tell everyone he feels their pain and is as angry as the public in the Republican destruction of the economy. Then he will lay-out a 6 or 8 or 10 point plan to save the country. It will be disguised socialism and many will buy it.
Sadly, I think you’re right. Perot led for a while in 1992, in no small part due to his oft-mocked infomercials. Obama’s team is going to look at their polling data, identify the ticket’s weaknesses among voters (issue weaknesses, character weaknesses(HA!), etc), and then engineer the half-hour such that it’s targeted to that specific audience. In a close race, sadly, this could provide the margin of victory.
I’m going to have to buy some more ammo while I can.
