Will his opening statement be "Ashhad la elah illa Allah. Muhammad rasoul Allah"?

Anybody remember that great Dukakis After Dark skit on SNL? He purchased a similar chunk of time, but by the time it was to air he knew he was going to lose so it was like the old Playboy club tv show. Best part was Matthew Modine as Lloyd Bentsen telling anyone who’d listen what he’d said to Dan Quayle.

Hopefully FOX will air a rerun of the Palin/Biden debate at the same time?

This is payola to CBS for all the bias they have shown him.

“Talks with FOX, NBC” is just to cover it up.

Obama backed down (lied) about agreeing to do ten town hall meetings with McCain back when Hillary was in the race.

I guess when you can’t control the questions you miss the effectiveness and punch that you get when you’re reading a prepared statemnt.

It’ll be a tear-jerker. Obama will tell everyone he feels their pain and is as angry as the public in the Republican destruction of the economy. Then he will lay-out a 6 or 8 or 10 point plan to save the country. It will be disguised socialism and many will buy it.

Barry running at History with his own Checkers Speech. He can put his Blue Yo Yo Seal on the podium. Make him feel special.

“Comrades, victory is ours! The evil bourgeois will be no more. Ooops, is it Oct. 29th?”

It will probably be a half hour of celebrity appearances and various performances. It will be an effort to show how hip and in touch he is with “main stream” America and how cool people (celebrities) love him.

If he goes that route, then McCain can hit back with how show boating is not appropriate in a time of such economic struggle.

Otherwise, Obama is just going to make a half hour long speech, and in that case, there will be no need to respond at all. The crowd that he is after now, will be so tired of him by Nov. 4th, that the novelty that made him attractive to many Americans in the first place will completely wear off.

Which is what McCain should have been doing in order to tell the American voter what the MSM will not.

Earlier this week, I posted on some thread or other that this is what McCain needs to do. Obama beat him to it.

Latest email from the “community organizer, agitator” campaign encouraging me to drive to New Mexico, or if I can’t drive, to call New Mexicans and try to persuade them.

And they are encouraging me to WASTE GAS AND DRIVE FOR CHANGE.

here’s the email”

Last week, the McCain campaign admitted it doesn’t want to talk about the economic issues facing Americans across the country. Instead they want to launch false attacks on Barack’s character.

With only four weekends left to talk to undecided voters, we need your help to fight back against the McCain campaign’s lies and accusations, and help get out Barack’s message of change.

And the best way you can help with that fight is to travel to New Mexico — a key battleground in this election — for one or more weekends.

And if you can, the Campaign for Change needs you to spend at least two of the four days preceding Election Day in New Mexico.

Will you Drive for Change and take a short trip to make a big difference?

The New Mexico Campaign for Change is hard at work reaching out to undecided voters. But polls show a small lead in a very close race, and history tells us that every vote counts. Al Gore won New Mexico by less than 400 votes — John Kerry lost by just over 6,000.

That’s why Obama supporters need to step up and travel to New Mexico.

Undecided voters in New Mexico have to hear why this country can’t afford four or eight more years of George Bush’s failed policies, and face-to-face contact is the most effective way to help build the Campaign for Change.

Campaign housing is limited, so please make your own arrangements if possible.

Time is running out. Sign up now to come to New Mexico this weekend — and invite your friends and family to come along:

We can’t do this without you.

Thanks,

Adrian

Adrian Saenz
New Mexico State Director
Obama for America

P.S. — If you can’t drive to New Mexico, you can make a big difference by calling undecided voters using our online Neighbor to Neighbor tool. Find out more about calling undecided voters:

He already gets 30 minutes every night free of charge on the big 3 networks, and gets 24/7 around the clock ad time on two cable networks. That’s not to mention the big newspapers. Is that not enough?

“Repent, ye sinners and vote for me!”

Man, this guy is just too full of himself. This is a weird mixture of politics, religion(cult), and American primetime TV. The ultimate reality show, I suppose.

Seriously, if he loses then I bet quite a few of his supporters will kill themselves.
