I just got off the phone with a polling agency. It lasted about 10 minutes.
I thought it odd (more than odd, actually) that towards the end of the questions, I was asked:
1) Have you heard any friends or neighbors say that they will NOT vote for The ) because he is black?
2) What is your name?
My answers: On #1, I laughed and said no, the people I spend time with do not judge anyone based on the color of their skin, but their views and judgment.
On #2: I gave my name. Hell, why not, they have my phone number, if they wish to find me and try to cause me problems, they can.

They wanted your name so they’d be sure and not call you again and to circulate to other liberal posters to put you on their do not call list.
