I agree with you, madison. :) I think perhaps you were answering to Boagenes (post 4712).

You’re right, he didn’t overwhelm, but he came across as sincere and passionate about his country. He also said over and over the great things about America, where Obama was constantly negative.

I think people respond more to a positive message, especially when you’re describing them, basically. People make up America, so if you’re going on about how bad America is, well.... But John McCain kept saying, “America is the greatest force for good on the planet” and how the American workforce and ingenuity can solve our problems (which I agree with!).

We’ll see what happens. Thank you for your post. :)
