And Obama wants us to reduce our energy consumption so that Iran (and Russia) don’t get rich off of us. What about drilling more here so the price of oil goes down everywhere? Won’t that have the same effect AND allow us our same standard of living?
Oil is a global commodity. It is fungible. There are plenty of other countries like China and India that will buy oil. In case Obama doesn't know, we don't buy oil from Iran or Russia.
