I turned it off as soon as I heard McCain announce he would engineer a cramdown of single family mortgage loans and consider Warren Buffett as Secretary of Treasury. I'm done. Not really a smashing endorsement of the free-market conservative base. Voting for McCain is letting the RNC get away with watered down candidates. No, give us the real Reaganesque deal.

Obama is not Gore or Kerry, who were both rather foolish wimps though not intentionally harmless. Obama may be the least competent and least patriotic candidate in our country's history. This is not the time to demand perfect and risk disaster. It's time to avoid disaster even if you're not thrilled with McCain.
