"He's putting diplomacy first instead of defending Israel!!!"
And putting the UN ahead of our treaty obligations. Astonishing.

"but McCain let hussein off the hook AGAIN !"McCain seems to have done quite a lot of that, i.e. letting Hussein off the hook. Can the man truly be this short sighted and weak to think he's going to win the election like this?
Obama is the very definition of everything I'm against, but I just can not help calling it as I see it and McCain is giving this one away.

(Obama can act presidential. McCain should be President.)

McCain won this debate simply because he answered the questions.

McCain says he’s the ‘steady hand at the tiller!’
God let’s hope so!

A great answer to a simple question, and McCain did very well!

This format is fine for McCain. He is real. Hussein is not; sounds too fake.
I didn't say he wasn't real, I said he wasn't smooth - you forget that McCain and Osama are chasing undecideds and independents. We are an image-based society - you or I can start a thread about some serious threat to the Constitution, and somebody else can start a thread about what some airhead actress said about a Republican politician, and the airhead thread will get 10 times as many responses.

Good, poignant closing remarks by McCain.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck trying to do some work tonight so I can't watch this.
Did someone bring a gong with them for when Obama speaks? Ring it, then give him the hook for sucking worse than the Detroit Lions.

“SEND THEM DAMAGING INFO ON OBAMA. DEMAND THEY DO THEIR JOB AND INVESTIGATE.”
They won't and it is naive and silly to think they will. This whole thing is running as a staged event for Obama. Brokaw is not moderating but playing the stage manager for the Obama victory show.

Loved McCain’s closing statement. Obama just rambled on and on in his and didn’t really say a thing.

IMHO, the problem with the debate was all of the boring questions.
