If Obama loses, we will see an implosion on the left. The American left is so invested in victory this year, that an Obama loss means a devastation of the progressive (socialist) wing of Democrat party, which would likely lead to a power struggle within the party, and thus a split, rendering the Democrat party unviable in national elections for a period of time.
Imagine what would have happened to the conservative movement in this country had Ronald Reagan lost to Jimmy Carter? We may have never recovered. Newt and the class of 1994 probably would never have happened.
This is primarily the reason why I want McCain win. It’s not because I like McCain, it’s because I despise Obama, and his defeat means the defeat of the American Left which will be felt for several election cycles going forward.

I agree, however the GOP better tell their checker pants country club members to tell their Wall Street types to get their act together and stop doing the GOP favors by causing one financial crisis and scandal after another and outsourcing US jobs. Take care of the blue collar Reagan Dems and they will take care of you.
