While a blue-dogs are better than the regular kind, they still increase the count and give senate control to the rats.

While it’s important to elect as many Republican Senators as possible this year, this race is the exception to that rule.

Not it's not. Conley will fall in line with Reid and Pelosi just like every other so-called conservative Dem.

I’ve never voted Democrat in my life, but I’m supporting Bob Conley. He is the real conservative in the race. He is against amnesty for illegal aliens, was against the irresponsibly Socialist $700 billion bailout, is 100% pro-life, is for drilling offshore and in ANWR and is for the FairTax. I’ve spoken with his campaign manager, Lee Griggs. Conley was a Republican, but signed on as a Democrat to defeat Graham. Conley knew he couldn’t gain any traction as an Independent or Libertarian. Some of you sound as though the Republican Party is the last bastion for conservatism. Give me a break. My Congressman is Bob Inglis (Republican, but not a conservative) and one of my U.S. Senators is Lindsey Graham (Republican, but not conservative). Thank God for Jim Demint! You people who continue to vote for RINOs are the reason the party continues to move to the left. Get your head out of your hindparts!

You want another six years of Gramnesty, who says that supporters of border security are bigots? I damn sure don’t, not from a conservative state anyway.

Conley was opposed by his party’s establishment in the primary. He supported Pat Buchanan several years ago. Doesn’t sound liberal to me.

This is the one Senate race this year where the Democrat is the better candidate. It’s something that rarely happens.

Thanks. Don't know anything about the Alaska Dem but I know enough about Stevens to be unable to hold my nose in any event. Too bad a Sarah Palin analog didn't unseat him in the Primary. As it is, the Reps in Alaska are faced with the age old ‘Least of Evils’ choices.
