In July 2007, Obama said flatly at a Planned Barrenhood event that he would appoint only justices who have empathy for pregnent teens, gays, minoritys, the discriminated, etc. - in other words, justices who will not side with white, Christian, Republican, traditional, or conservative beliefs of ANY kind and who will legislate activism from the bench.
