I think they've gone beyond twisting, I think they're down to outright lying.

Not that it hasn't been done before but I can't recall anything as bare and brazen as this time around.

They’re counting on the majority of America to assume it’s the truth, “I heard it on the news, so it must be true.”

And too many people are intellectually lazy enough to do just that.
