oh yea?

McCain has opened 50 new offices in California.
Wisc and Mich are still in play.

reality is that obama had a nice national lead...but a real movement has begun this weekend and the race will be tight with late breaking towards McCain at the end.

Don't get too excited. That is just a pump fake. They are trying to force Obama to spend a few bucks in California.

George Bush was heavily criticized in 2000, I think. The campaign spent no money in California and the GOP establishment was furious because it meant that there was less excitement and turnout for the downticket races.

In 2004, they spent some money and campaigned a little in California, but that again, was so Kerry had to spend a few bucks there, but the main reason was to provide some support and help with the downticket races. The Bush campaign thought they had a chance in 2004, but lost by 12 points in California which was better than the 17 in 2000.

McCain has no chance in California.
