Gee. This is a tough one. I would think abortion would be a non-starter.
I guess the NYT doesn’t really expect that should factor in strongly enough to override everything else.

That is becoming an increasingly difficult choice considering the GOP has been incrementally moving towards the socialist Democrats ideology in an effort to expand the GOP voting base. They are essentially becoming one party.

HAHAHAHA! Man if Catholics can’t figure this one out, they need to give up or realize they really don’t believe in Jesus Christ.

1. Protecting innocent life is paramount.
2. Charity does not involve a threat of prison.
3. The St. Vincent de Paul society and Catholic Charities doesn't just hand out money to bums like the gubment does.
4. It has been proven time and again that all other things being equal, conservative voluntary charity far outstrips what libs give.

*Real* Catholics wouldn’t *dream* of voting for a RAT today.Kennedy/Kerry/Pelosi “Catholics”....the ones who adhere to the Nine Suggestions instead of the Ten Commandments.....have no trouble so doing.

Let’s see, the Demoncrat Party’s nominee for president uses the tactics of a man who dedicated his book to Lucifer. Nuff said.

Doug Kmiec must have been promised a nomination to the Supreme Court!

Perhaps it is time to revisit Pope Benedict's address to the White House:

Actually...make that Eight Suggestions.Numbers 5 and 6 have been dropped completely by the Kennedy/Kerry/Pelosi wing of the Church.
To: reaganaut1
The fact that this is even a subject for an article sickens me.

Being right on taxes, education, health care, immigration and the economy fails to make up for the error of disregarding the value of a human life, the bishop wrote.Well Bish, they aren't right on any of those issues.
Taxes: They want high taxes which directly cut into your bottom line at the collection plate to do the social work you should be doing(of course they give you money as Catholic Charities, don't they)
Education; if they were right they would allow vouchers for Catholic schools. Wouldn't they?
Healthcare: They want the Canadian/English/Cuban form of single payer/universal health care. AKA "Commie-care" You seem OK with that.
in the name of "social justice"
Just a Catholic word for Communism. Where do you think you are...Italy?

One of my favorite bumper stickers is that you can not be Catholic and pro-abortion.

One Saturday last election cycle, I was working next to a Catholic church that was having a wedding. I couldn't believe how many cars had "Catholics for Kerry" bumper stickers.
I really wished I had some that said "No fetus can beat us" to slap on next to them.
How can those folks call themselves Catholics?

The real bias Gwen Iifil exhibited the other night (omission) was on one of Sarah’s strongest issues. She knew that SP is a witness to life as opposed to mealy mouth Biden. All this cycle the media has downplayed abortion as an issue but they know she wins this one because for the first time we have a candidate who radiates authentic Motherhood (Todd reflecting authentic Fatherhood) and justifies the difficult choice in service to Life. I was VERY impressed when she called Trig a “Sign of Hope”, this is a very deep reality that only the humblest, most loving people KNOW.

It’s not a “fight”
Not even close!
Why is it that nuns seem to be pro Obama? Bitter women?
How can any Catholic condone Obama’s record on ending innocent life before it is born and...even after.

interesting to note that Trig was born the day after the Pope’s Mass at Nationals Stadium, not claiming a Catholic X-Files episode but certainly worthy of a little reflection.
