I’m deeply suspicious here. Tammy Bruce USED to be the president of the LA Chapter of NOW but she hasn’t been for years now.

NOW is an organization about socialism, abortion and hating men (the last two are the same thing). It has nothing to do with women at all.

This is the reason I’m incredibly suspicious that this isn’t true and it’s just a case of ‘Tammy Bruce endorses Palin’ (tammy being a former NOW Chapter Prez). Kim Gandy will get up in the middle of the night to shoot down this rumor.

Unless Sarah decides to abort Trig now and take on a butch women as a mistress, NOW is not going to endorse her. Period.

NOW is not endorsing, just the head of the local chapter which has been stated all along on this thread.

Read it again, it’s not the NOW chapter, it’s the president of the chapters personal endorsement.

Believe it, on this thread you’ll find the video of her at a Palin rally.

I read one of Tammy Bruce's books a few years ago and she went into what happened at the LA NOW chapter. The problems really started when she organized a "Take Back the Night" walk in memory of Nicole Simpson - to raise awareness of wife abuse and to hold OJ Simpson accountable. Bruce got a severe smackdown from the NOW higher-ups because the march would be offensive to blacks, a core Democrat constituency. Bruce's response was justified: "This isn't a black versus white issue. A man who is a proven wife-beater just killed two people - one of them his wife - and was allowed to walk free." That's when Bruce got the clue-bat to the forehead and realized that NOW had very few women's issues at heart, but was focused solely on getting Democrats elected. Eventually she was told she was not welcome at NOW anymore.

So of course NOW is not going to support Palin. But I would not be at all surprised to learn that Hilary is twisting some arms here and there.
