ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is accusing Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" for his association with a former 1960s radical.
Palin was referring to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. The group took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

The real interesting point about Palin’s remark is her reference to her kids. Basically, she is saying, “Do you trust your children’s welfare with a Commander in Chief who is friends with a terrorist?” She used her own kids in the remark, too, which should resonate with families.

I would LOVE to see a split-screen poster displaying
Governor Palin with Senator McCain on the left-side,
Barry Hussein and Bill Ayers on the right-side.
The captions below each duo would read, from left-to-right, ‘Either You Are With Sarah ... Or You Are With The Terrorists.’
I think that would be a winner. But then, what do I know?

They cannot ignore it or the spin will be out of their control. The NYT may have done McCain a huge, inadvertent, favor by running that story. They meant it as a whitewash but it seems to have stoked a few fires. Of course, they may have purposely done it now to inoculate Obama from a later October surprise Good point. If this thing gets legs into next week then the Obama camp is going to say "Thanks a bleeping lot" to the Times.

I just saw a report on Fox News saying his campaign is calling it swiftboating

“In the same story, we learn that Obama today held a rally in Illinois. What the hell for? Thats like McCain holding a rally in Utah.”
My guess is to shovel campaign money into the pockets of his Illinois cronies.

Between today with the “palling” around with terrorist and yesterday with Carl Cameron saying he isn’t fit/qualified to be commander in chief . . . . oh man he is probably so ticked and he will step right in it. AND with Clinton in some remarks saying something to the affect of somebody being eligible for POTUS . . .
I’m praying numerous times per day that his whole campaign blows up before Nov. 4th.

Now, is our heroic Sen. John McCain going to hide behind Sarah's skirt?

The real interesting point about Palins remark is her reference to her kids. Basically, she is saying, Do you trust your childrens welfare with a Commander in Chief who is friends with a terrorist? She used her own kids in the remark, too, which should resonate with families. It's going to be tough for Obama not to respond to those words.

“Attack him, make him react. Laugh at him, make him mad!”
AGREED...
We saw in the first debate what happens when you throw Obama off his game plan. He doesn’t react very well to unexpected surprises. he interrupts, and is generally disdainfull, which doesn’t sell well on TV.
We are in the middle of a DEMOCRAT-CREATED, Media inflamed economic crisis, and the people are scared, yet have NO IDEA of what the economic cost to THEMSELVES of Democrat corruption.
It’s BEYOND time to let them know, even if we have to shout it above the Obama-worshipping media.

I just saw a report on Fox News saying his campaign is calling it swiftboating LOL. The problem with that term is that anyone who's not a political/news junkie doesn't know what the hell it means.

Try this for some good reading:
*************************************
Its difficult to imagine they are so blatantly antiAmerican!
See this :
Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left
And a review:
**********************************
I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.
It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.
Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.
This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

Oh the MSM is just going to be so upset on the Sunday shows tomorrow. I love it.

Saracuda is in LA in about 60 minutes at the 13,000-seat tennis stadium at the Home Depot Center. Anyone know if there is a stream, McCain's site? How much you want to bet every one of those 13,000 seats will be filled...and then some?
