“U.S. Army troops to serve as U.S. policemen?”

That’s called “martial law.” We’ve used it before, but only in extraordinary circumstances. I’m sure they wouldn’t be deployed without some sudden emergency. Personally, having troops waiting in the wings for a disaster to happen is a waste of money. We can fend for ourselves, for the most part.

I have been finding several references to martial law and bank holidays on the web. One one site, 321 gold, A source reportedly in Atlanta and high up in the banking food chain there said that Banks have already gotten the notice from the feds and that one bank (I won;t mention it here), already had a shipment of signs tell customers that the bank is officially closed for the bank holiday.

The supposedly banking holiday is to be announced within the next two weeks.

Martial law may be a component of this action.

Anyone else picking up this on the web?
