Where did she come up with this?

“Meanwhile, the elephant in the room is the fact that dermatologists are confirming that the form of cancer for which McCain has been treated has an actuarial survival rate of two to four years for a person his age. So, as the disturbing prospect of a long Palin presidency starts to set in, she doesn’t look so great to working-class white women any more.”

A couple questions: where exactly does Sarah's accent come from? I realize her family originated from the mid West but being a New Englander the term ‘ Mid West ‘ covers a lot of ground. I find Sarah's accent and voice so soothing and pleasant to the ear and I have always been fascinated by the wide variety of regional accents throughout out country. In my own state of Massachusetts there are so many different regional accents it amazes the ear. Of course, some of them are very difficult to listen for for long even if you are from this part of the world.

Scenario: McCain passes away during his first administration and Palin is sworn in. Can Sarah then run for two terms after her covering what was left of McCain's term or does that equal one term for Palin.
