I am not a public speaker, and I am not running for vice-president. Sarah Palin IS running for vice-president, against a very experienced opponent. I gave her credit for giving a decent performance and not embarrassing herself, but not for winning the debate. She missed too many opportunities, and I think it's probably because she's still a little green, expecially at the national level.

As I said earlier, I think she would do much better when she doesn’t have to worry so much about how to defend somebody else, especially someone that I think deep down she has a lot of disagreements with.

Good points all, but debating ability is not the be all end all to good leadership. I blame Reagan. That was good leadership married with great debating skills that set the bar that not even Clinton could meet. Actions over words people.
