Understand I'm not defending her and McCain - I'm not happy with her and McCain either, but that said, she and McCain are not trying to get your vote and my vote - McCain has the vote of every person reading this thread.

What McCain and Palin are doing by going to the left on certain issues, is that they are trying to pull in undecideds, many of whom are in the middle or lean left.

Yes, it's selling out for votes, and yes it gives more power to liberal beliefs, but McCain is still better than Obama.
