Gotta give credit, though. Ifill did a fine job. She still should not have been there, but I gotta say she seemed quite fair.
I agree. I was hoping for more but what we got fit the narrative the McCain campaign has been putting forth.
Didn’t lose votes, didn’t gain many either.

MSM will have a difficult day tomorrow citing mistakes that Sarah made. She was prepared, feisty, knowledgeable and folksy and connected with people. Far far from the snippets of the Couric interview we’ve seen. What a joy!

I disagree. She talks to people, she doesn’t come off as a know it all. She’s doing just fine. She’s not nervous, she’s nailing her issues, she’s not backing down.
Biden just starts spewing and spewing and spewing...but to some folks he may sound smart.
And that, in a nutshell, was the number one — and maybe the only — goal for tonight. Sarah came through with flying colors. Running the country isn’t about who is the most glib, or the most handy with some useless bit of data. It’s about considering the information and being decisive.
God bless you, Sarah Palin. You made me proud tonight.
PBS just had both commentators say that Palin did well. CBS just said that both did well.
