Fox News ^ | 10/2/08 | Oshkalaboomboom

Posted on 10/02/2008 5:36:30 AM PDT by Oshkalaboomboom

Senator McCain is on Fox and Friends talking now. They asked him why he didn't get credit for helping the economy while Barack Obama was the invisible man nd he said because "life isn't fair." They asked him if he thought a moderator who was writing a pro-Obama book was acceptable and he said "life isn't fair." He talks like someone who has already lost.

He also said that stupid bill was more important than his campaign.

Even if this is an extreme crisis and something needs to be passed, it was a perfect chance for him to step up and take charge. If Congress really had the American people and our futures at heart, they would have passed a straight forward bill designed specifically to help the credit markets and nothing more. The fact that he didn't speak out against the spending added to the bill when he is making it the central theme of his campaign, is mind boggling.

If she falls flat on her face it is over for McCain

And, THAT'S the truth!

Like Dubya, McCain also suffers from martyr complex.

Well, at least he doesn't suffer from the messiah complex, like {Ø}bama.

His new motto should be: I’d rather lose an election than tell the truth about Obama... and be called a racist by my media buddies.

Sounds like he’s stuck in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder mindset.

Life isn’t fair? Why is it that all of us here would know how to protest the choice of the moderator and take appropriate action. This has nothing to do with fate. OH MY LORD

McCain/PALIN Sarah PLEASE use your voice and convictions!!!

God help us if nobammma is elected and they keep the house and senate. McCain appears to be on meds to keep his temper under control. It's a lose-lose situation for him. If he comes out and confronts the democrat machine, he'll be reported as being an old cranky man who is out of control and if he continues to be the dismissive, ‘’uniter’’ he will be considered lackluster and not a ‘maverick’.

Such a pity that McCain can't figure out that not everyone is his "friend."

McCain’s all right with losing the election... so long as conservatism is kept out of it.

We need to pray that God will have mercy on this nation and turn his face to us. We need to pray that he will touch the heart of every American and that people who are trying to cheat a victory - will be exposed to everyone. We need to pray that he will protect good people from evil and that we will choose leaders that will strive to do his will.

It was actually a good interview and he hammered on the fact that Obama is a big spender and believes in ear marks. He also talked about who he put his country first by suspending his campaign to assist with this , while obama kept on going with his campaign.

Concerning the “life isn't fair” quote anyone who actually watched the interview would see that he was laughing when he said it and was making a joke.

There was a post similar to this the other day and I got hammered for calling the guy a troll.

About your comments regarding this interview....I watched it, you left out the part where McCain said he’d rather not have a moderator who wrote a book about BHO, and McCain is practicing the saying, “never let them see you blink”. The interview was not a desperation, jump off the cliff moment by any stretch.

I like your attitude. All this gloom/doom is self-defeating. McCain should become President. Period.

***How did we get stuck with this loser?***
Answer: Because he survived the Hanoi Hilton and the MSM culling of the GOP herd.

OTOH: There are US citizens who will actually vote for the Dem ticket represented by a Marxist and a boob. What happened there???

Our Founders predicted how we might fall from grace.

We have been too blessed for too long - the next decades will either set us straight or set us up to lose everything (freedom wise).

Calling McCain a loser. Please identify why you are any better than him.

Because I have enough sense not to listen to my ego and run for POTUS when my heart isn't into the job.

RE “McCain cares less about who gets the credit than he does about finding a solution”

Correction, “ ... than he does about accepting a crappy solution” . Well then welcome President Obama because someone is getting the blame, and he is letting Republicans, including him get it. By the way, the leader McCain didnt even give a speech, he hid and the Obama speech attacked republicans and markets. Also :

Why Republicans supporting democrat’s investor bailout bill is political suicide
