Senator McCain is on Fox and Friends talking now. They asked him why he didn't get credit for helping the economy while Barack Obama was the invisible man nd he said because "life isn't fair." They asked him if he thought a moderator who was writing a pro-Obama book was acceptable and he said "life isn't fair." He talks like someone who has already lost.

I wouldn't assume that simply because Palin is attractive, that she has no brains. The "ignorant" factor is a media construct...the same one they've played on George Bush.
So that’s what happened! I wondered where all the level-headed, clear-thinking Freepers ran off to. I kept changing threads looking for the sane ones, but everywhere I went, the hand-wringers were there in full force, monopolizing the thread!
There were a few of us making efforts to calm things, but we were greatly outnumbered and I started wondering if FR had become overrun with DU’ers.
I noticed the attacks on Sarah, too, and it was appalling. Only explanation, that had to be coming from DU trolls.

I saw McCain’s comments regarding Ifill on the tube and it was ok.

I just emailed the McCain Team asking them to tell McCain to stop being so “Bi-Partisan” and start being Partisan — on Truth, Equity, Integrity, Justice and The American Way.
He did blow it when he voted YES. I’m so proud of Shelby and Sessions (my birth State of Alabama) for voting NO that I might consider moving back to Alabama.
McCain is trying to please everyone and in doing so he’s alienating everyone.
He really thinks that the people want to see a leader who can unite. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN WITH THE DEMOCRATS, they do not want harmony, they lead with chaos and hatred.
I think some folks are just in a fighting mood and nit-picking must give them some relief. It’s become comical, actually.

I’m hearing this Dan Quayle analogy from the MSM who will be hovering over Sarah to make sure she comes through for them with at least one or two gaffes. I personally expect Biden The Gaffe Guy to put his foot in his condescending mouth with great gusto because that’s what his ego prompts him to do. And he does it without humor, unlike Sarah. He just comes across as an angry, bitter liberal with no class.

I understand your sentiment, however when it gets right down to it people do not vote for the 2nd person on the ticket, they vote for the first.
