That wasn’t the best answer to be sure. That interview has done her nothing but harm. Hopefully tomorrow she can undo that damage.
I saw it. It was embarrassing. This makes her performance tomorrow night a make or break situation in my opinion. If she can’t pull it off tomorrow, if she can’t come up with answers that are coherent and on point then it is over for her.
That said I have to say that from what I have read recently the McCain campaign had assigned people from the Bush administration to coach her and prep her for these things. How anyone could think that people from the Bush administration are comepetent to handle the media or communicate effectively is beyond me. The Bush administration has demonstrated over and over for the past 7+ years that communication and media management are about as familiar to them as the dark side of the moon. To entrust Governor Palin’s media prep to such people borders on malicious intent - they couldn’t have done more to torpedo her if they had tried.
This sucks. They still have a month to desroy her completely. McClame is looking more and more like Dole. I don’t know. If she gets preped to the McClame reach across the aisle bi-partisan baloney. She will look stupid at the debate. I would say let her go. Nothin to lose at this point. Good luck Sarah. I think I will get my absentee ballot vote for McClame forget all this BS and go fishin.
So is CBS going to release a segment of this video every day until election or what?
The only positive to that clip is that it reveals Katie’s syndrome.. DUOP...
She’s a dried up old prune.
Katie’s envious of Sarah’s appeal, Sarah’s youth and her better “looks”.
Katie Couric is a vapid, empty pantsuit who is losing control over her perky appeal
Sarah may be a newbie, but she oozes sincerity, honesty and down home goodness.
All the the things that aging feminists HATE!
Why is there no focus on Biden’s answer? He was also only able to come up with one decision he did not agree with! And Biden chairs the Judiciary Committee!
Man you all worry too much! She did fine. Of course, I would haver mentioned Kelos, but what the hey? She sounded reasonable.
I have no idea why she’s still talking to Katie Couric? Didn’t she new interviews with her this week to be aired before the Biden debate?
She was on today with Hannity and it was horrible. Not Palin but Hannity. He seemed angry and despondent and uninterested in her answers.
Eh, no big deal. Five weeks is a long time. I suspect she is really going to turn the big guns on the empty suit now.

McCain probably threw this election when he allowed himself to be talked into Sarah Palin as a running mate.
She is not ready for the Vice Presidency, much less the Presidency. Anybody who argues otherwise is either naive or is being disingenuous.
I am furious at McCain. This is beyond depressing.
And then I would also like to point out that Biden is a lawyer, and he sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Gov. Palin is not a lawyer and has been busy running the largest state in the union and finally getting off the ground a natural gas pipeline project that was languishing in electoral gridlock for 30 years. That pipeline will be the largest construction project in North American history.
Finally, I would note that Palin's answer is correct in that she has never served as a "law maker". She has served as a executive. She is running for an executive position (VPOTUS).
Katie (the little whelp) asked Palin and Biden a question that Biden was destined to shine in. Like I said, the guy sits on the Judiciary Committee. He knows everything about SCOTUS. Palin isn't a lawyer.
Sure, she gave a less than stellar answer. But I will NOT dismiss her because of that.
Fred Thompson said it all in his article yesterday (http://townhall.com/Common/PrintPage.aspx?g=41781e42-10cb-4524-bd0b-95f4fb6fd151&t=c). "Courage and political will are at the very top of the 'qualification' requirements for today's leaders," and Sarah Palin has that in spades!
I can’t believe she didn’t mention the Exxon v. Baker case. She has been strongly against that decision, even appearing on TV just three months ago decrying over the Supreme Court’s decision to decrease the punitive damages. If all I had was this interview to judge, I would say she’s incompetent.
