Biden time...
As Joe wonders what hit him from one side, he need merely look over his shoulder and see round two bracketing him in the Great State of Delaware. I hope Lauren is able to smile at this one. We closed our thread on Lauren since she has now come out of danger.

Christine O'Donnell is running for election against Sen. Joseph Biden.
In his debate with Gov. Sarah Palin on Thursday, Joe Biden told the American public that “all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington, or go to Katie’s Restaurant” to get a sense of how people feel about the economy.
But Christine O’Donnell has some news she’d like to tell Biden: Katie’s Restaurant has been closed for a while.
It’s unlikely, however, that O’Donnell will get the opportunity to inform him. As the woman running against Biden, the one competing against him in his largely overlooked Senate reelection bid in Delaware, she’s still waiting for her chance to stand on stage with him.

O’Donnell has, however, made enough noise to gain notice from Haley Barbour, the governor of Mississippi and former chairman of the Republican National Committee, who has endorsed her, along with astronaut Buzz Aldrin and David Horowitz, the 1960s radical turned conservative activist. Preceding O'Donnell's career in elected politics was a career in conservative-issue advocacy and a stint at the RNC.
Before this election got under way, O’Donnell was doing advocacy work on a Terri Schiavo-like right-to-life case in Delaware, involving a 23-year-old woman named Lauren Richardson....................

This person with whom I would not shake hands has graced the ears of those who don't have them with a new noise. But I wish Lance well. I am not really sure what "Life Partner" is but somebody could clue her in on a term she has not yet understood, "marriage". She could even Google it.

As Lance Armstrong pedaled to another Tour de France victory, Sheryl Crow found herself in an unfamiliar position: on the sidelines.

"Just spending our days together was one of the things that have been really missing from my life, the experience of serving somebody else and having them serve you. I found I enjoy being in a partnership, part of a team, as a unit," she says.
While she calls Armstrong the inspiration of "Wildflower,"the disc is not the sunny, dreamy album one might expect from someone reveling in a new love.
"Even though the record feels like a bunch of love songs, most of those records are based on the conversations that Lance and I would have about religion, and Terri Schiavo and about our government. They're based on how we felt about what kind of world we felt we were leaving his children," she says of the divorced father of three.
Few of the songs on the album are radio friendly, and Crow is unsure if "Wildflower" will meet the success of her previous discs.........
Crow finds life, love beyond work

I’ve met Miss O’Donnell before through a friend in the pro-life movement. She’s a honorable and nice young woman. Godspeed to her.
Re: Post #30
“But Christine ODonnell has some news shed like to tell Biden: Katies Restaurant has been closed for a while.”
That is absolutely PRICELESS, and the fact that O’Donnell was working on helping Lauren Richardson makes it truly beautiful.
O’Donnell, Palin - I love the girl power!
