while I totally agree with you, I do think the wind has shifted big time in this. Look, the only way McCain was going to win this thing, was to fight the left and fight the Mainstream Media.. He has occassionly fought both, but not near hard enough. He often gets in bed with the left and also the MSM by inviting them into the Straight Talk express, etc.

this is a culture war and McCain still doesn’t get it. He keeps forgetting that he is a soldier and puts his senate politician hat on. He needs to suit up and get that uniform back on , and fight the enemy within.

He has allowed MSM to mock Palin with abandon. Why? She is not Quayle, but they have made her that.. I guess we will see how she does in the debate Thursday night. But again, they will spin that as well, and the big Fair and Balanced Fox News team (our only hope) will call it a tie..

we have no warriers on our side except Rush..

I have gone back and forth on this bail out thing, personally, but I do agree that McCain has blown a huge opportunity.

Unless he fights and fights hard, right now this minute... this thing is over. finis.

Very well put. This is a Culture war Bush did not get it and McCain don’t get it.

The Left knows the Right is their enemy. The Right wants to be buddies with the Left.

You cannot just go out and start fighting. You don't shoot at a target, until the time is right.

But if conceding defeat makes you feel good, go right ahead.
