Unfortunately, there's more than a good chance of just that happening.....scary scenario, pass or fail.
I know. I've been thinking about it, and praying, and realized that in the worst case scenario, my comfortable retirement is gone anyway. If a bad economy causes the value to evaporate (as 20% of it has done so far this year) or if the socialism this bailout would inflict on the country destroys the economy NEXT year, it's still gone. Pay me now, and keep a free country, or pay me later, and live as slaves.
