I am withholding judgment on this until someone much smarter than me on economic issues (and I don’t mean an online gathering of anonymous FReepers) explains it.
If not for McCain, we would be getting something much, much, worse. I suspect many of the people screaming, “That does it, now he’s lost my vote!” never really intended to vote for him in the first place.
And with that, I bid you all good night. The football game calls me, and I must answer.
I'm holding my fire until I hear from Thomas Sowell.
And that about sums up the plight of America.
I’ll wait for Rush. He is my source of guidance and comfort. And my pastor.
I’m withholding judgement too, the best that can be said is that this is NOT the original bill that sent everyone into a frenzy.
Let’s all take a deep breath and see the final bill, then if it sucks, THEN go crazy.
The ONE positive I can tell you is that Kudlow was happy with the final bill.
Let’s not elect Obama just yet, OK?
My anger tonight is over how the Gang of Four (Pelosi, Reid, Frank and Dodd) have been front and center at the TV cameras basically taking credit for "saving the US economy". And the 'RAT minions (ie Kerry on today's Fox News Sunday) are going around criticizing McCain for "stalling the bill". Grrr....
Just watched Boehner, Eric Cantor, Blunt et al give the Republican response on Bloomberg TV. The Asian markets' response to this bill and comments by 'RATs and Republicans is mildly positive...
Good night... enjoy that football game. ;-)
