Does anyone here know how much PENSION FUND money is tied up here? Looking for a real answer.

Tell your mother to put her IRA money in a Vanguard Treasury (backed) money market fund. I've heard those are pretty safe.

I don't know for sure, but I think they're talking about some of the fixed funds - the $1 a share type. And investment large pension funds invest in - might be derivatives. And those are toxic now. Does anyone know for sure?
