I repeat my question:
If this bill is sure to make everything so grand, why aren’t the Dems taking advantage of the Republicans’ hesitation and passing this bill on their own? Are they just being charitable?
I mean, if they’re going to be able to take all the credit for all of the wonderfulness to follow, why not pass the bill?
A cynical person might speculate that the Democrats want the bill to fail and the GOP to be blamed for it.
