No moron considers themselves to be a moron, even when the evidence is right before their eyes. That’s attributable to the fact that they are self-evidently stupid.

I’m getting very tired of being personally attacked for trying to preserve free markets and liberty.

This bill needs to die. It’s pure socialism and once we do this, it opens the door for it to happen over and over again.

There is absolutely no evidence that Obama will win if we vote against this bill. The Democracts can pass this thing any time they want. If they feel the need to save the world and they are sure this will do it then they could have done it by now on their own. The Republicans get NOTHING from supporting this. If it succeeds (which it will not long term) the Dems simply claim all the credit and the media goes along with it. If it fails, the Dems say it was all Bush’s idea and McCain was in the bag to help push it though and the media supports them in that as well. The best possible outcome is for the Republicans to do the right thing and vote against the bill as a block.

IF THE DEMOCRATS WILL NOT PASS IT ON THEIR OWN THEN WE HAVE THE MEDIA AMMO TO COME BACK LATER AND ASK “WHY DIDN’T YOU?” Because they were too afraid of losing their own power to do the right thing?!?!? They can’t possibly use that excuse later. NO! It’s because this bill protects the ultra-powerful socialists that started this mess. The Dems only want us for body shields to put before the hungry wolves when the market finally falls. And it’s going to fall whether this passes or not.

After the market damage becomes impossible for the average joe to ignore, people will be looking for servants in Congress that they can trust. If Republicans vote for this bill, then they will be just as culpable as the Dems for the damage done.

Is this so hard to understand? The presidential election is a separate issue from this. This issue is about the ability to trust our entire party to EVER do the right thing.
